Let's start with Friday, shall we? Me and Stew had no trouble at all finding the Queen Street Art District area which is pretty amazing, wow, another place subjected to endless hours of construction and dug up roads, pebbles strewn all over the place and dust clouds wherever you walk *cough cough*. And it started pouring rain and being a total blonde ditzy head, i forgot to bring an umbrella with me. We found Betties and Bombshells boutique but apparently it had been closed down for 4 weeks now, soooo disappointing!!!! Its odd though that their merchandise was still inside the shop as if it would be still in service..and totally hip mannequins dressed up in rockabilly/psychobilly outfits..grrrrrr!! i spotted a leopard print skirt through the shop window..not fair that they are closed! They're supposed to reopen somewhere else but there was no notice where..doggabbit!! Anyways, it started to really rain hard, so we ran across the street to a quaint little diner that seemed to be right out of Ghost World minus the Weird Al lookalike flipping his hair back and forth..haha! We had yummy cranberry apple muffins. Then we waited until the rain tapered off a bit, and we went to Pulp Comics, nowt interesting there except when we got out of shop some woman was saying "FUCK OFF!" to a parking ticket she got and she was super mad..parking stinks here coz even though you don't see a cop, they're like invisible, so we felt sorry for her. We went to a rock shop, and i got this awesome pink vinyl bag with a black silkscreen of Marilyn Monroe, & a Johnny Cash baseball t-shirt. Stew got a James Dean t-shirt and a Mad Hatter plushie. Oh, this one shop was selling Cyberlox headbands..way wicked!! they light up too. Came home, and i did Bettie Page bangs and it turned out really cool!

Saturday, went to the library, haven't been for ages..i got out some cds (Kill Bill vol. 2 soundtrack) etc..went to Chapters, got the Under the Radar issue magazine..my fav. indie magazine..looooove it, it has Gruff Rhys, Flaming Lips, Joanna Newsom etc..and i had another blonde moment..i ordered an oat fudge bar or so i had thought, but when i got my order, it was the wrong one, they have 2 pastries there with similar names, so i stirred up a stink about it, and i ended up getting my order free..:) I wasn't rude or anything, i just think that lately everyone seems to get things wrong and it gets maddening that i have to always take back something coz its the wrong order..it majorly sucks!

Sunday nights, i had to bake batchs and batches of French vanilla and Swiss chocolate cupcakes coz this week is Halloween Week in the studio and kids are going to have fun decorating them..bought lots of stuff from the Bulk Bin like black/orange sprinkles, gummi worms, gummi pumpkins, skeleton candies etc...gotta go..mom needs help with her fairy costume.
