OOOOhhhh wow, where to start writing..i met a very nice rockabilly lad who works at HMVs!!! I was flipping through the Ghost World comic books they have on sale there, i haven't decided yet if i will get one or not becuz a friend of mine from England mailed me one of them but it seems to be different from the ones at HMV here, anyways, while i was figuring this all out, the rockabilly guy with the groovy tattoos on his arms asked me what music i'm into (gosh, i haven't heard a guy ask me that in eons apart from my guy friends who don't count coz they are not boy-friends just friends), and then i got all tongue-tied and i could feel my face flush probably an embarrassing shade of crimson and i went totally blank for a few rabbit seconds and then i said something.."i like indie, electronica, punk, anything really except country"..which was a mistake coz his face said it all that he was disappointed when i had said that. And then i recovered quickly, and said that i do love Johnny Cash. But what i really should've said is that i don't care for the new country stuff, i do love the old stuff coz it turns out that he is a huge fan of really old country like 1800 country stuff and i'm like thinking in my head..whaaaa? does that really exist?? Anyways, i then asked him what he's into and at first he said, "whatever i'm in the mood for when i get up in the morning.."hahaha..CHEEKY ANSWER!! then i found out that he likes 60s psychedelic bands too and rockabilly music coz when i mentioned to him how much i love Reverend Horton Heat, he got all excited and said, "yeah that guy's cool!!"..yay!! i won a large point there :) He's very very shy though and bashful, if thats a good word to describe him, and he reminds me a bit of Matt Dillon's brother coz he could easily play a 1950s greaser role in leather jacket and drive a T-Bird!

Watched loads of Olympics.

I got my bangs cut 1950s Bettie Page style coz my bangs were too long and starting to bother my eyes. I'm going to do my nails Madison Avenue red, and then continue reading the new Francesca Lia Block book i picked up from the library.
